Meksyk Finca el Flamingo

Come discover a unique coffee bean from the picturesque Finca el Flamingo farm in Mexico. This unique bean comes from a plantation located at an altitude of 1200-1500 meters above sea level, where the climate, soil and care of the growers create the perfect conditions for growing the highest quality coffee.

This organically grown coffee comes from a farming community in Jaltenango, Chiapas state. In 2011, these farmers banded together to survive the then-current financial disaster related to coffee. Since then, they have been collectively investing in the rehabilitation of their farms. The community sells its coffee under the brand name "Finca el Flamingo," which is inspired by a large nature reserve nearby. The name comes from the popular fishing village of Celestún nearby, which is a reserve for flamingos and other water birds

Mexico ranks third in terms of coffee-producing countries in the world. It is one of the forerunners of organic farming and was one of the first countries to control beetle infestations with bees.
